Kumasi Asante Kotoko are currently in talks with a former player of Inter Allies Fredrick Boateng.
The center forward who became the top scorer for Inter Allies with 6 goals in 2015-2016 season, terminated his contract before moving to sign a two year contract with Welwalo Adigrat fc in the Ethiopian league.
The 24 year old according to reports have agreed on terms with the porcupine worriors and he will soon pen his signature for the club.Reports say Coach Steve Pollack is not convinced that his current strikers will gliter apart from Saddick Adams hence, a decision by Dr. Kwame Kyei to get a striker to partner Saddick Adams as they begin their African Campaign next month.
Steve Pollack has already hinted that supporters should not expect exceptional performance from the team in the ongoing G8 tourney since its only a platform for him to access the players especially the new ones .The team won their first match against 11 wonders by Obed Owusu through a sportkick and they will play their second match on Wednesday against Dreams FC at the Baba Yara Sports Stadium.
