EPA to close down gas, petrol stations sited close to commercial and residential areas

The Environmental Protection Agency [EPA] is to start an exercise to close down gas and petrol filling stations which are sited close to commercial and residential facilities and those which do not have enough space.

PRO of the Agency, Mrs. Angelina Mensah, said this is one of the many reforms following the recent gas explosion at Atomic Junction.

Mrs. Mensah said the EPA is ready to put its credibility on the line if it fails in this regard.
