It appears that Coach Bashir Hayford has incurred the wrath of the Supporters of Cape Coast Abusua Dwarfs after losing 4 nil to Kerala on Thursday who until recently were in division one and he is urging them to give him chance to rebuild the team.

The team is at the bottom of the log in group B in the on going G8 tournament with no points conceeding 10 goals in two matches and some supporters popularly refered to as Crab Supporters are calling for the head of the coach.According to them, his continous stay will spell doom for the team when the league resumes.

However, speaking to the media in a post match interview on their match against Karela, the coach, said he used only 3 regular players alongside justifies players to play the match.”I want the supporters to know that the regular players are 3 the old players are all gone so those who played are new players and those who were not getting the regular starting lineup last season are those making up to the number and this is so my head is there for them”

He said the boys were not willing to play and he had to psych them before starting the second half.The former Kotoko and Ashgold coach said he offered to help the team hence he needs time to get to know the current squad and build a team for the season.
